About the work with the light

Biggest quality of my work is my unique on a world scale ability to operate with light. On photoshoots I create a lighting to perfectly fit every set, every interior and when I need it, I can mimic the natural sunlight. It is a hard work but an exciting one, for me definitely.

To take the highest quality pictures we need to feel the light itself and know how to guide it to show all the textures, all the shapes, colors or even glass reflections. Thanks to this technique I use in my pictures, places such as hotels, apartments, restaurants or even warehouses and assembly plants stand to benefit greatly from this.

On my pictures I like to connect places with the presence of people, since from those pictures we can see extra expression and charisma. Every time I look at my own photography, I like to see a complete work, flawless when it comes to technique, but also perfect as an art, delivering on all the aesthetics and leaving space for imagination at the same time.

About the medium format photography

Advantages of medium format photography I could list for a long time: better picture plasticity, clearer structures, tonal range, stunning depth, possibility to work outdoors – and those are only a few of the examples. For me, a key role in “the medium format” plays the quality of the picture, it shows a similar image to what a human eye registers. It allows to enhance the prominence of the lips, texture of clothing, distribution of light on a glass surface and a lot more insanely important details. “Medium format” also makes darker, climatic rooms shine. Shadow has a lot more life in it then we would give it. We can manipulate it any way we would need or combine it with specific light to create certain visuals. Photography is basically like physics in a way and what I mean by that, it is a constant state of learning and I like a challenge. I enjoy overcoming technical difficulties and working in poorly lit environment, because it is always more challenging this way, but I can persevere thanks to my experience and ability to find the right angle to capture the right frame.

True authenticity

Each of those sessions is a massive challenge. Picking a location, surroundings, colors, frames – all of those things matter. I create a vision in my head and there is no place to leave things up to chance. After that, what matters the most is the cooperation between the model and me. On that stage what is challenging for most people, is to show their emotions, for example through the way they pose. In fact, a lot of people keep those feelings bottled up, and without them there is no way to show that true authenticity.

Above all, the image depends on good photography. Especially in the age of the internet and social media where often good picture builds good reputation. Aside from digital space my pictures are perfectly fit to be used in all kinds of leaflets, billboards or brochures. Obviously not every company need pictures, they manage to attract clients or sell their product or services without any kind of pictures whatsoever. Nonetheless it is worthwhile having them since it increases the company prestige and recognition, which in consequences leads to company potentially attracting higher interest from the clients.
